English investors will learn about the Oil Goods and Services sector offering in Colombia

London, England. English entrepreneurs will attend a seminar this coming March 23rd in London to learn about the investment potential offered by the oil goods and services sector in Colombia, and to explore the possibilities they will have to establish their business in the country to develop their projects.

The event, arranged by PROCOLOMBIA and the National Hydrocarbon Agency - ANH, will promote investment in that sector in niches like Upstream (exploitation and exploration), Downstream (transportation, storage, refining and trading).

Moreover, other potential segments such as offshore exploration, heavy and non-conventional crude treatment, and transportation will be enumerated.

On the other hand, ANH will present the 109 different areas for production, exploration and technical evaluation contracts.

This will be the third seminar prepared by PROCOLOMBIA simultaneously with the ANH tour around seven countries in America, Europe and Asia to promote investment in the Colombian oil sector.

Toronto, Calgary and Houston were first; over 100 attending entrepreneurs were presented with information on the country's capability in goods investment and connected services. During the coming weeks, other seminars will take place in Beijing, Brazil, Seoul and Tokyo.

Among other acknowledged multi-national companies present in the country, it is worth mentioning companies like Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Weatherford, Smith International, and Schlumberger Limited.
