The gathering will take place in Hotel Las Americas Global Resort and Convention Center on May 26 and 27 in Cartagena, Colombia. The summit will provide a global forum to discuss today’s most important topics in outsourcing, learn about the vast opportunities in Latin America’s emerging markets, and network with industry professionals from Latin America and around the world.

Outsourcing customers, providers, and advisors will be in attendance to provide insight into real-life outsourcing customer and provider experiences, as well as the future of outsourcing in Latin America. Practitioner sessions will explore hot topics such as cloud sourcing, knowledge process outsourcing (KPO), the growing role of analytics, and how to design, implement and manage outsourcing for success. With the committed support of his office, Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos also expects to personally participate in the 2011 IAOP Latin American Outsourcing Summit, schedule permitting.

As the host of the event, Colombia will be showcasing opportunities to invest in the region and introducing participants to the mayor players in the region’s IT and BPO outsourcing community. Colombia is emerging as a leading global player in the industry, with competitive advantages including a strategic geographical location and a large, high-quality bilingual labor pool.
